PURPOSE:To equalize driving operability to the one of an engine vehicle, to improve the efficiency of a system, to make the system small in size and light in weight and to reduce the cost thereof. CONSTITUTION:A driving system of an electric vehicle which uses a battery as a power source and drives wheels by an AC motor through the intermediary of an inverter. Both of the primary and secondary sides of the AC motor 110 are so constructed as to be rotatable and one of the primary and secondary sides is connected to a power transmission shaft 811 of one wheel of right and left wheels through the intermediary of an inversion type speed reduction part 120 of which the direction of rotation is inverted between input and output sides, while the other of the primary and secondary sides is connected to a power transmission shaft 821 of the other of the right and left wheels through the intermediary of a non-inversion type speed reduction part 130 of which the direction of rotation is the same on the input and output sides. Electricity is supplied from the inverter to a coil 112 constituting the primary side, through a slip ring 151. |
