PURPOSE:To shorten the adjustment time and perform excellent coin processing by adjusting an output level so that an input level is converged within a specific range about a reference value by the repetition of dichotomy. CONSTITUTION:A controller 3 performs dichotomy processing wherein processing for subtracting the previously set reference value C of an input level from the input level B on the input side of a sensor 2 and then dividing the result by two, and multiplying the result by the rate D of the output level A of the sensor 2 to the input level B and subtracting the product from the output level A to calculate a correction value E for the output level A is repeated. Then the output level A is adjusted so that the input level B is converged within the specific range about the reference value C. Consequently, the correction value is made large when the difference between the input level and reference value is large and made smaller and smaller as the difference between the input level and reference value is smaller and smaller, so fine adjustments when the difference between the input level and reference value is large are omitted to shorten the adjustment time. |
