PURPOSE:To enable erasion of applied traces even with an erasing solution containing no hydrofluoric acid and repellence of an ink even at parts subjected to burning treatment by using a specified compound as a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive planographic printing plate is prepared by coating with a positive type photosensitive composition comprising an alkali- soluble resin and at least one kind of photosensitive material containing 1, 2- or 2, 1-naphthoquinonediazido-5- or -4-sulfonate of a polyhydroxy compound represented by formula I or II in which each of R1-R4 is H, OH, halogen, alkyl, or the like; each of a, b, d, and e is 0 or 1, 2, or 3 and c=0 or 1, and a+b+c+ d+e>=2, and at least one of a and d is >=1 and at least one of b and c is >=1; R5 is H or alkyl; and each of R6-R9 is OH, H, halogen, alkyl, or alkoxy. |
