PURPOSE:To provide a new structure of optical and/or electronic functional element by making this element into a laminate consisting of a substrate, an electrode, a polyimide film by deposition and polymerization, an optical exciting layer, and an electrode. CONSTITUTION:N,N-bis (4,4'-diaminodiphenyl), P-anisidine, and 1-(2,3,5- tricarboxycyclopropane), and dianhydride acetate are deposited and polymerized into objective thickness each at the fixed quantity of deposition, being heated together with a glass board so that the reaction ratio on the board may be a stoichiometrical ratio. And, the temperature of a monomer is returned to room temperature, and the board is reheated to imidize a polyamide acid completely, and the temperature of the board is returned to room temperature, and then tetraphenyl porphin is deposited and stacked, and thereon a pyromellitic acid dianhydride and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl methane are deposited and polymerized similarly to imidize. Accordingly, optical diode property, where a current flows in only one direction, can be gotten when aluminum is deposited semitransparently and it is connected to upper and lower aluminum electrodes.
