PURPOSE:To speedily decrease temperature in a device and to easily remove printing paper, remaining in the device because of failure in carry, from the device by, when detecting the failure in the carry of the paper in the detection of the state of the printing paper being carried, driving an ejection means at the time that the temperature in the device reaches the lower set temperature. CONSTITUTION:A sheet sensor 30 detects whether the printing paper is normally carried in the printer main body 1 or not. When the printing paper is normally carried, the rotary drive of a fan motor 31 is carried out based on a comparison of the temperature in the printer main body 1 detected by a temperature sensor 41 with a first temperature, relatively high, which is stored in a temperature memory. Conversely when the device fails to carry the printing paper properly, the rotary drive of the fan motor 31 is carried out based on a comparison of the temperature in the printer main body 1 detected by the temperature sensor 41 with a second temperature, lower than the first temperature, which is stored in the temperature memory. |
