ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enable an ensemble performance of high quality at all times regardless of a solid difference and a secular change by using an automatic playing piano and an electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:A photointerrupter which switches at string striking timing is installed nearby the of the lowest-interval key of the automatic playing piano. Delay time measurement data DLT for driving the lowest-interval key with the least strength are outputted (S310) and while a timer counter T is increased (S320), the input of a detection signal from the photointerrupter is expected (S330). Once the detection signal from the photointerrupter is inputted, the current of the timer counter T is set as delay data TDE for an electronic sound source (S340). For the ensemble performance, ON-event data for the electronic sound source are outputted after a delay corresponding to the time TDE and the string striking of the automatic playing piano is matched for the musical sound generation of the electronic sound source.
