Additional air is injected into the internal combustion engine, which is of the type, which consists of a combustion chamber (1), with the principle air inlet pipe (2), leading past the fuel injector nozzle (16). The burnt gases are passed through the exhaust. The inlets (2) and outlets (3) are controlled by valves, operated by the control cams. The injector, for additional air, presents two separate points of injection (12 and 18). The primary opening (12) injects air into the exhaust outlet in the region of the exhaust valve opening and the secondary opening (18) injects air into the inlet, in the area of the fuel injector nozzle (16). USE/ADVANTAGE - It is a simple and efficient method to provide extra air to produce cleaner burning of the fuel gases.
