摘要 The speed measuring arrangement contains a device which generates a pattern of interference strips at a measurement location using two crossing, interfering light beams and a frequency displacement mechanism. The frequencies of stray light passing through the interference pattern are detected as a measure of the components of the speeds of the stray light sources perpendicular to the direction of the interference strips. The frequency displacement arrangement contains a resonator into which light from two pump light sources is coupled. The pump light is produced by the stimulated Brillouin effect between two light waves. The frequencies of the pump light are stabilized at different resonance positions in the resonator, and both light waves produced by the stimulated Brillouin effect are coupled out to form the two interfering light beams.
