The slide guides and slide faces can be tensioned against each other by adjustment elements such as adjustor screws mounted on the coupling halves (1,1'). Counter screws can be used to allow the adjustment of the coupling independently of the inherent elasticity of the coupling halves. The adjustment and counter adjustment screws can be mounted in through holes in the slide elements for even surface pressure between slide faces and guide faces. The holes can be larger than the screws to allow all round mobility of the coupling. USE/ADVANTAGE - The torque-transferring coupling is rotationally rigid and works free of play in the rotary direction. It is useful for shafts with torque reversals at high speeds.
