PURPOSE:To obtain a phenol-urethane foam which is used as a thermal insulation material for a refrigerator, a freezer, etc., is free from pollution due to chlorofluorocarbons, and is excellent in thermal insulation properties and productivity. CONSTITUTION:A thermal insulation foam is produced by mixing a liq. benzylic- ether-based phenol resin compsn. contg. 5-15% arom.-amine-based polyether and 20-40% nonamine-based polyether, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer, an org. isocyanate, and 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane and foaming the mixture. Thus, the foam excellent in strength and thermal insulation properties is produced at a high productivity without causing pollution due to chlorofluorocarbons. |
