PURPOSE:To correct the present position without giving a sense of incompatibility with the display of a display device. CONSTITUTION:To a central processing unit 1, a position detecting sensor 2 consisting of a direction sensor, a distance sensor, and a GPS receiver; a keyboard 3 a map memory medium 4: a display control device 5: a screen buffer memory 6: and a drawing memory 7 are connected, and a display 8 is connected to the display control device 5. The central processing unit 1 gently and sharply regulates scroll time according to the distance between the present position before correction and the present position after correction at the time of matching the present position, and scroll display according to the distance is performed on the display 8. Since much time is taken to smoothly perform scroll without sharply scrolling, particularly at the time when the distance is large, and the large distance is never scrolled at once, a sense of incompatibility is never felt for the indication of the display 8. |
