PURPOSE:To improve a deodorizing performance, provide a clean state in a chamber of freezer refrigerator and promote the clean state by a method wherein a storing container is indirectly cooled, and a high humidity chamber utilizing moisture dispersion of food is provided with a deodorizing filter having deodorizing agent with oxide of fibrous metallic element as catalyst component. CONSTITUTION:A high humidity chamber of a freezer refrigerator is operated such that a storing container 13 provided with a lid 14 is indirectly cooled, thereby moisture content transpiration of food is utilized to make high humidity state in it. In this case, the high humidity chamber is provided with a deodorizing filter having deodorizing agent with oxide substance of fibrous metallic element as catalyst substance. In turn, the deodorizing filter 17 is provided with a humidity transparent plate 18 made of hydrophilic porous resin so as to prevent dew water from being dripped. A part of the humidity transparent plate 18 is formed with a cold air passage so as to perform a direct cooling of it and thereby an excessive humidity is condensed on the humidity transparent plate 18 and moisture is absorbed. In addition, the deodorizing filter 17 is provided with a mesh-like cover 19 so as to assure its aeration characteristic and to prevent deodorizing catalyst powder from being dropped. |
