PURPOSE:To obtain a compound useful as a medicine in high yield by reacting a specific compound with an alkyl-homopiperidinol in the presence of a dehydration condensing agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I (X is halogen) is made to react with an N-alkyl-4-homopiperidinol of formula II (R<1> is lower alkyl) in the presence of a dehydration condensing agent (preferably a combination of diethylazodicarboxylate with triphenylphosphine or a combination of diisopropylazodicarboxylate with the triphenylphosphine) to afford the compound of formula III. |
