PURPOSE:To provide a beltless air bag which is constituted by fabric and is excellent in the inflation resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a beltless air bag constituted by fabric where the appearance is substantially circular, the center part of the top cloth T constituted by the fabric is reinforced by sewing the laminated fabric A on the top cloth at the inclination as demonstrated in (1), and the sewing line E at the outermost circumference of the fabric A is sewn so as to satisfy the inequalities (2) and (3). (1) The direction of the warp forms the bias angle to the direction of the warp of the top cloth. (2) 0.6<=Dw/Db<=0.9, (3) 0.1<=Dw/Dt<=0.8 (Where, Dw indicates the length of the line in the direction of the warp passing the center of the fabric A which connects two sewing points opposite to each other on the sewing line, Db indicates the length of the line in the bias direction passing the center of the fabric A connecting the sewing points, and Dt indicates the diameter of the top cloth). |
