摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a classifying device capable of continuously, effectively and accurately classifying even a powder having high flocculation properties. CONSTITUTION:A second supply cylinder 12 is inserted in a first supply cylinder 4 and the powder supplied into the first supply cylinder 4 from the second supply cylinder 12 is allowed to meet with the revolving stream supplied into the first supply cylinder 4 to be primarily dispersed. The revolving stream allowed to meet with the powder is accelerated up to acoustic velocity in the small caliber jet passage 10 provided to the leading end part of the first supply cylinder 4 and injected into a coarse powder recovery chamber 18 from the jet passage 10 to be suddenly expanded and the powder is secondarily dispersed. The powder is centrifugally separated into a fine powder and a coarse powder by the revolution of the air stream in the coarse powder recovery chamber 18, and the fine powder revolving along the curved surface 5 of the first supply cylinder 4 by Coanda effect is allowed to flow into a fine powder recovery chamber 19 from the gap 17 between a classifying plate 15 and an expanded part 5 to be separated from the coarse powder, and the fine powder and the coarse powder are recovered from a fine powder discharge cylinder 21 and a coarse powder discharge cylinder 20.</p>
