The valve has a housing, a valve body (3) in an inner valve chamber (2) and a temp. sensor (4) inserted in the housing. The housing has a recess (5) with an externally accessible aperture (6), which is sealed w.r.t. the inner chamber and which holds the temp. sensor. The recess is arranged downstream of the valve body in the flow direction and in the region in which the liquid flow changes direction. The cross-section of the recess is slightly smaller than that of the temp. sensor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables accurate measurement of temp. of medium in heating or air conditioning system. Eliminates conventional valve mounting and cost disadvantages and prevents damage to environment by coolant leakage.
