The digital arithmetic circuit provides all four basic arithmetic operations and is based around an adder circuit. This operates together with shift registers and a control circuit. The circuit receives decimally coded numbers together with a decimal point. All shift registers are operated with pulses generated by a single unit. The unit has one specific register block (90) that is used to store multipliers and the results of any division processes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides all 4 arithmetic operations.
