Mirror laminated plates involves i) the use of prepregs (8) which cure in 1-3 mins. at 175-250 deg.C; ii) moulding in a single daylight press with an enclosed pressing area connected to a vacuum pump; iii) assembling the prepregs (8) together with metal foil on the faces if necessary and stacking between loose pressing plates (9); iv) compressing the prepreg at 350-100 N/sq.cm under a vacuum of 0.01-0.03 bar; v) demoulding the prod. while hot and removing the pressing plates. A single daylight press comprises i) a main frame; ii) heated lower (2) and upper (3) press platens with hydraulic cylinder and piston; iii) a vacuum pressing chamber (5) enclosed by a frame (6) mounted on the upper platen.
