<p>The invention relates to data circuit terminating equipment for compression/decompression of data for a synchronous terminal. On sending, each frame sent by a terminal is compressed after suppression of certain fields (FLAG, FCS) of data constituting it, then transmitted over a protected link onto a transmission network. On reception, each frame received through the protected link is unpacked from the fields relating to this protected link. Then the rest of the frame is decompressed. The fields (FLAG, FCS) of data which are suppressed on sending are reconstituted, either by calculation, which is the case, for example, for the frame control sequence (FCS), or by insertion of a defined word, for example for each flag. <IMAGE></p> |
