PURPOSE:To dose safely and smoothly a fixed amt. of a transfusion component by constituting a part of a medical device which is, or will be brought into contact with a liq. contg. a fat-soluble drug with a fluororesin elastomer. CONSTITUTION:A fluororesin elastomer is a polymer wherein fluororesin part 7 and fluororubber part 8 are bonded together. As it is physically crosslinked in the fluororesin phase at room temp., it exhibits rubbery elasticity, but at high temp. higher than m.p. or more higher, it exhibits the same behavior as a thermoplastic resin does. This fluororesin elastomer having a rubber elasticity function at ordinary temp. is used as a tube for a transfusion. When this is used e.g. for a tube for a transfusion for dosage of a transfusion contg. nitroglyc erine to a patient by means of an intravenous drip infusion, nitroglycerine is hardly adsorbed in the tube after usage for a long time and it is therefore possible to dose a fixed amt. of the infusion for a long time. |
