RESTORATION OF PERFORMANCE OF WATER ELECTROLYTIC BATH

摘要

PURPOSE:To safely and easily restore the electrolytic performance of a cation exchange membrane water electrolytic bath without using hydrochloric acid by performing electrolysis using an electrolytic current of a rated value or more in the cation exchange membrane water electrolytic bath deteriorated in its electrolytic performance by the accumulation of impurities on a cation exchange membrane. CONSTITUTION:A cation exchange membrane 1 is used as an electrolyte and an anode 2 and a cathode 3 are bonded to both surface of the membrane 1 to constitute a water electrolytic bath. When the electrolytic performance of the water electrolytic bath is deteriorated by the accumulation of impurities on the cation exchange membrane 1, electrolysis is performed using an electrolytic current of a rated value or more to remove impurities from the cation exchange membrane 1. Whereupon, the performance of the water electrolytic bath whose performance is deteriorated by the mixing with impurities is well restored.
