<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the interval of optical scanning lines, and to reduce the range of an area to be touched by preparing one touch coordinate by an arithmetic operation for searching the mean value or weighted mean value of the plural touch coordinates. CONSTITUTION:A touch coordinate transmitter 3 detects the plural touch coordinates from optical scanning lines 2C and 2L, and transmits them to an outside. A coordinate arithmetic unit 5 searches the mean value of the plural touch coordinates detected by the touch coordinate transmitter 3, and uses it as one touch coordinate. At that time touching a touch panel 1 with operators finger, the nine points of each coordinate of the plural optical scanning lines 2C and 2L are detected by the touch coordinate transmitter 3, and transmitted to a computer 4. The coordinates of the nine points are (CA, LX), (CA, I,Y), (CA, LZ), (CB, LX), (CB, LY), (CB, LZ), (CC, LX), (CC, LY), and (CC, LZ). Then, the coordinate arithmetic unit 5 prepares a mean coordinate (CB, LY), and outputs it to the computer 4.</p> |
