PURPOSE:To automatically operate adjustment of the drilling speed of a shield machine. CONSTITUTION:The driving current supplied to a cutter motor, the pushing pressure of a shield jack, the thrust of a shield, the density of drilled soil in mud water, and the rotating speed of a mud discharge pump are detected with a current detector 3b, a jack pressure sensor 9b, a thrust detecting part 47, a discharged mud density sensor 29, and a tachometer 31. These detected results are input to an estimated mark computing part 49 of a computer 45 for control at every decided time, and the estimated marks to be characteristcs of the drilling condition of the shield machine are computed at every decided time. A fuzzy inference part 55 applies a fuzzy control rule R held with a fuzzy control rule holding part 57 to them so as to perform fuzzy inference. Based on the inferred result, a control part 61 controls drive of a hydraulic drive source 9a, while monitoring the drilling speed of the shield machine detected by a speed sensor 33. |
