A brake line is disclosed, as well as its union with the brake housing (1). In order to master higher braking powers at possibly the same weight and with the same brake dimensions, an increased temperature of the brake fluid must be accommodated. The object of the invention is to insulate as much as possible the brake hose (11) which extends from the master cylinder to the brake housing (1) from high temperatures of the brake fluid. For that purpose, the brake line is provided at the end next to the brake with an intermediate pipe (4) which keeps the brake hose (11) away from the brake housing (1) and which at the same times helps cool the brake fluid. Advantageous developments of the invention concern the union (9) between the pipe section (4) and the brake hose (11), as well as a simple means (10) on the housing (1) for locking the pipe in rotation.
