A cable conduit (1) for use with car wiring harnesses, esp. those running between front and rear of the vehicle, is arranged in the wheel arch (3). It is integral with the fender (wing), attached to the top of the inner wing (30). There is an opening into the engine compartment (9), with a detachable lid (5). This lid has a cable retainer (5a) to give rigidity to the larger diameter cables (6). Smaller cables (7) are held loosely. ADVANTAGE - Easy assembly of leads and cables with full enclosed protection.
