PURPOSE:To shorten the adjustment time for laser beam machining by arranging linearly outgoing ends of optical fibers in one line and executing simultaneously laser beam machining to a multipoint. CONSTITUTION:Laser light outgoing from plural laser oscillators 1 is allowed to pass through optical modulators 2 and conder lenses 3 and there-after, is made incident separately on optical fibers 4. Subsequently, outgoing ends of plural optical fibers 4 are arranged on a straight line, and the laser light is condensed linearly to an object to be worked. In such a state, since the laser lights are controlled separately by the optical modulator, laser beam machining for a multipoint can be executed simultaneously in accordance with a signal of ON/OFF inputted to a control apparatus in advance, and also, even for a very large object to be worked, adjacent places can be worked simultaneously, and the time required for adjustment can be shortened. |
