PURPOSE:To easily perform the shrink packing of a spherical body using a heat shrinkable tube by a method wherein the spherical body is received in a slitted tube formed from the heat shrinkable tube and the annular parts of the tube are bent along slits to cover the spherical body and the slitted tube is shrunk under heating. CONSTITUTION:A spherical buoy 1 is inserted in a heat shrinkable tube 3 having slits 5 formed thereto to be received in the central part thereof. Next, a third annular part 8 is bent along the slit 5 to wrap the buoy 1 from the upside of a second annular part 7 and, subsequently, a first annular part 6 is bent to wrap the buoy 1 from the upsides of the second and third annular parts 7, 8. The respective annular parts 6, 7, 8 are formed so as to form slight overlap flaps. In this state, the heat shrinkable tube is temporarily clamped by a cloth tape coated with a self-adhesive and hot water is poured on the tape and the heat shrinkable tube is heated by a hot air device to be shrunk and the cloth tape is peeled. By this method, the shrink-packed spherical buoy 1 can be obtained. |
