PURPOSE: To provide a drive mechanism for linear peristaltic pump capable of producing a variable pump finger speed throughout a stroke cycle. CONSTITUTION: Drive mechanisms 10a to 10d operating a finger 14 of a peristaltic pump 16 comprise a base 30, and a drive member 12 installed reciprocably on the base 30. Joint-connected arms 42 and 50 are connected pivotally, at one end part, on the drive member 12, and connected pivotally, at the outer end part, to an installation point on the base 30. Then, a rotating cam operating unit 24 is installed on the base so that it comes in contact pressingly with an arm so as to reciprocate the drive member 12. |
