PURPOSE:To provide an electrochemical gas sensor which can detect the age- based detecting function, to objective gas and can detect the objective gas precisely without being affected by the ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:An electrochemical gas sensor is provided with an electrode group 51, an object gas detecting element 71, a standard gas detecting element 72, a temperature detecting element 73 of an insulating substrate 1, and a signal processing circuit 9. In this gas sensor, the group 51 consists of a functional pole 21, an opposition pole 31, and a reference pole 41 on the insulating substrate 1, the element 71 composed a solid electrolytic membrane covering the group 51 of the electrodes, the element 72 is in the same atmosphere where the element 71 is. The sensor is also provided with an output circuit 81 of the detecting element 71, an output circuit 82 of the detecting element 72, an output circuit 83 of the temperature detecting element 73, and a signal processing circuit 9 containing a correcting circuit to correct the outputs of the output circuit 81 of the detecting element 71 and the output circuit 82 of the detecting element 72, based on the output of the output circuit 83 of the temperature detecting element 73. |
