PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide the clear contrast of colors, to make the thickness thin, to achieve light weight and to improve conveying property by constituting a thermochromic layer by regularly arranging thermochromic materials, which repeat the coloring and fading of blue, green and red, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A thermochromic layer 1, whose heating is controlled by the current conduction, is held between intersecting stripe electrodes 2 and 2'. which are provided so as to face each other. In the thermochromic layer 1, thermochromic materials 1B, 1G and 1R, which perform the coloring of blue (B), green (G) and red (R), are regularly arranged at the intersecting positions of the facing electrodes 2 and 2'. This state indicates the mosaic alignment. When the thermochromic materials 1B, 1G and 1R are made to be the round shape or the cylindrical shape and the colors are arranged, the part other than the round-shaped thermochromic material is the heat resisting, or colored or transparent resin or pneumatic layer. Especially, when the pneumatic layer is provided, the diffusion of heat between the thermochromic materials is prevented, and the bleeding of the colors is less. |
