摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to firmly adhere image receiving material and recording material uniformly in a short time in a small space with a device low in cost and prevent trouble which occurs at conveying by setting surface roughness or waviness of an image receiving face to a specified value with a light and heat conversion type heat mode image receiving material. CONSTITUTION:A value Ra of an ink layer of a recording material 3 or a surface roughness of an image receiving material 4 is 0.4-0.01, but 0.3-0.05 is desirable. When the value Ra exceeds 0.4, adhesive property deteriorates, transfer sensitivity lowers, dot reproducibility of transfer image deteriorates, and color turbidity occurs. Making it below 0.01 is difficult from the viewpoint of production and fog due to pressure transfer will easily occur. On the other hand, the waviness of the surface (irregularity on the surface observed at an interval of 0.1.-several mm) is 2mum or less. It may be larger comparing with the surface roughness. However, when it becomes 2mum or more, the adhesive property deteriorates as well, although it depends on rigidity of the image receiving material 4 and the recording material 3. When vacuum adhesion is to be performed, degree of adhesion changes dependently on pressure-reducing time. The shorter the pressure-reducing time is, the more preferable it is.
