PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having dielectric properties such as high dielectric constant at high frequency, high Q value, and small temperature coefficient of resonance frequency and sufficient for resonators and circuit substrates to be used at high frequency. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric ceramic composition contains rare earth metal (Ln), Al, Ca, and Ti as metal elements and in the case the composition has a formula aLn2Ox.bAl2O3.cCaO.d/TiO2, the mole rations (a), (b), (c), and (d) and (x) are 0.056<=x<=0.214, 0.056<=b<=0.214, 0.286<=c<=0.500, 0.230<d<0.470, and 3<=x<=4, respectively, and a+b+c+d=1. A dielectric resonator is prepared by setting a dielectric body 4 having the above-defined composition between a pair of input and output terminals 2,3. |
