<p>PURPOSE:To transfer fault information to the low-order station of a ring configuration in the ring configuration of a digital transmission line. CONSTITUTION:Concerning this fault information transfer system, plural digital transmission lines 4 and 6 for transmitting synchronizing clocks are connected in the shape of a ring between a master station 2A and slave stations 2B, 2C and 2D. On the other hand, reference frequency generators CL are provided inside the respective slave stations 2B, 2C and 2D. When any fault is generated between the respective slave stations 2C and 2D of the '0' system transmission line 4, for example, an internal clock is temporarily generated by the reference frequency generator CL inside the fault station 2D in the case of transferring fault information to the relevant fault station 2C to the low-order station 2D or the like, and the fault information synchronized with the internal clock is transferred from the fault station 2C to the low-order station 2D of the ring configuration.</p> |
