The upper face of the tray has a notch (13) forming an intermediate transverse neck separating an inlet zone of large width and a locking zone of smaller width. The tray bottom (9) has a foldable locking tab (17) cut out in the bottom. The locking tab (17) is in two parts , a base and a head (22), separated by a narrowed zone whose width is near that of the intermediate neck of the notch. When the tab is pushed, by folding, perpendicular to the bottom and to the upper face (7), the tab head (22) passes through the inlet zone and is placed on top of the locking zone. USE/ADVANTAGE - Packing tray for food pots formed from pre-cut cardboard which can be erected simply and quickly.
