PURPOSE:To display the selection branch of a display language in the language to be selected regardless of the selected language when the parameter of a printer is selected. CONSTITUTION:When the parameter of a display language is set based on a menu, the present state is shifted to a state 402 by a menu key 401 and then to a state 403 'CONTROL'. Furthermore the state 403 is shifted to a state 405 where the display language of a menu message is selected. Then a language is selected between 'ENGLISH' 406 and 'NIHONGO' 407. In this case, the English selection branches and the Japanese selection branches are displayed in 'ENGLISH' and 'NIHONGO' respectively regardless of the selected language. |
