PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and to rationalize the maintenance work with an automatic cash transaction device by monitoring the states of the component parts under working to compare these states with the data stored in a trouble dictionary and informing a host device or a system of the application of the abnormal stress if decided. CONSTITUTION:A trouble dictionary stores the life-time data on the parts, i.e., the expendables in a table. Then the states of four component elements, that is, a bankbook register mechanism part 1, a card processing mechanism part 2, a coin input/output mechanism part 3, and a note circulation mechanism part 4 are monitored so that the trouble phenomena of each part can be grasped. The working data on each component element are collected and compared with the data stored in the trouble dictionary. If it is decided that the life-time of a certain monitored parts expired due to the application of the stress larger than a rated level, this fact is notified to a host device or a system. In such a constitution, the parts can be previously exchanged for the preventive security. |
