The four stroke internal combustion engine has each cylinder arranged with the combustible gas inlet valve (6) controlled by an inlet cam shaft (2) and the burnt gas exhaust valve (7) controlled by the exhaust cam shaft (3).The exhaust cams are variable and operate according to the power requirements of the engine.The gas in the combustion chamber is controlled by the inlet and outlet valves. The inlet valve (6) is preceded by a separate valve (1) in the gas inlet line. This valve serves as a non-return valve, to maintain the pressure in the chamber during the period of delayed closing of the inlet valve (6) and this allows the inlet valve to operate on a reduced closed time. USE/ADVANTAGE - It gives improved performance and flexibility equally at both high and low speeds.
