<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of magnetic springs in the vertical directions of a ground coil and to reduce a magnetic effect to a superconducting magnet by a method wherein a ground coil for levitation use is constituted of a single loop coil and it is installed on a sidewall. CONSTITUTION:A ground coil for levitation use is constituted of a single loop coil, it is installed on a sidewall and a normal flux type sidewall levitation coil 1 is formed. At this time, the form of the upper side of the coil 1 is formed into an elliptical form, a triangular form or the like to lessen a magnetic effect to a superconducting coil. Moreover, a thrust coil 8 of a 4-phase thrust system, which is used for a 2-phase feeder system, and the coil 1 are integrally molded to obtain a ground coil 9. Thereby, actions of thrust, levitation and guide can be used together by one piece of the coil 9, the number of magnetic springs in the vertical directions of the coil 9 can be reduced and a magnetic effect to a superconducting magnet can be also reduced.</p> |
