Into tubular packages (P) which contain an imbricated formation (1) of flexible, sheet-like articles, in particular printed products, and which are covered by a protective/holding element (3) there can, according to the process of the invention, be positioned a supplementary product (2) such that, with the individual removal of printed products from the interior of the package, it is removed first.
