PURPOSE:To make shape-forming sure and to attempt to reduce number of processes, by placing a skin having a void-containing soft layer in one of molds for stamping molding, pouring a thermoplastic resin as a base material in another mold and clamping these molds. CONSTITUTION:A skin material 3 is formed by jointing a skin 3a consisting of a polyvinyl chloride and a soft layer 3b having a cushioning characteristic such as polypropylene foam and so on and bending the end part 1a inside. After the skin material 3 is placed in a fixed mold 6a, a split mold 6b is slided and set on a top force 6. Then, a thermoplastic resin being in a foamable condition is poured in a projected part of a bottom force 7. The top and bottom forces 6 and 7 are pressed to carry out stamping molding. It is thereby not necessary to do a special treatment of the end parts as the resin of the base material 2 covers and presses the end part 1a of the skin part 3a and the soft layer 3b. Moreover, as stamping molding technique is utilized, not only shape- forming can be surely done by the mold 6 of the skin material 3 side, but freedom of the design can be enlarged. |
