STRUCTURE FOR PREVENTING WHISLE NOISE FROM BEING GENERATED BY AUTOMOBILE CLEARANCE LAMP

PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of whistle noise without providing other components like sponge rubber. CONSTITUTION:Space 18 having a generally constant interval D in the horizontal cross section is provided at outside a head lamp 20 in the transvere direction to prevent fluting sound generated by air flow passing through tire space 18 of an automobile mounting a clearance lamp 22 and a housing 24 for supporting the clearance lamp. A lens 23 for the clearance lamp is provided with a projecting part 26 unitarily projected from the part facing the space 18. The projected part 26 is extended to over the whole length of the space 18 and is narrowed its interval at any horizontal cross section of the space 18.
