PURPOSE:To provide a sintered sliding member which is excellent in lubricity and abrasion resistance and can be used in a temp. range from normal temp. to about 800 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:This sintered sliding member comprises a stainless steel excellent in resistances to heat, chemicals, and corrosion as the bas material, 3-15wt.% cobalt, and 3-10wt.% lead oxide. When the member further contains 2-10wt.% graphite, its sliding characteristics, esp. its coefficient of friction, at about 100-450 deg.C are improved. |
