<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out removal of impurities contained in a waste paper raw material by repeatedly carrying out the formation of a raw material mat and release of the mat on a wire cloth by utilizing water pressure in a single machine. CONSTITUTION:A suspension of waste paper raw material is injected into the space between a vertical-type cylindrical closed vessel body (1) and a washing drum (2) horizontally rotatable in the vessel body (1) and being stretched with wire cloth (2b) on the outer circumference, from the lower part of the vessel body (1) under pressure. The suspension is moved to the upper part of the vessel body by a deflector spirally provided in the inner circumference of the vessel body (1) while alternately reversing the liquid pressure of the vessel body (1) and the liquid pressure in the washing drum (2), and simultaneously diluted and washed with fresh water.</p> |
