<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device which permits elastic sheet strips in predetermined sizes to be successively pressed together accurately into an integral strip in order to form an oriented staple containing elastic body and make the mass production thereof possible. CONSTITUTION:The forming device is provided with two pairs of feed rolls 12 and 13 for feeding rubber sheet 1 synchronously, two pairs of cutting devices 14 and 15 each of which consists of a cutter 14a and the corresponding receiver 14b and a cutter 15a and the corresponding receiver 15b, respectively, for forming cuts 4 alternately on the opposite sides of the rubber sheet 1 between the paired feed rolls 12 and 13 and a pair of inwardly forcing means 16 and 17 for forcing the rubber sheets 11 into an inserting opening 22 of a molding die 11 to press them for lamination/press adhesion.</p> |
