PURPOSE:To improve both a color developing speed and a color developing density by forming it of polyvalent metal salt of salicylic acid derivative and polyoxyalkylene fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:A developer for a pressure sensitive recording sheet is formed of polyvalent metal salt A of salicylic acid derivative such as zinc 3,5-di(alpha- methylbenzyl)salicilate and polyoxyalkylene/fatty acid ester B such as lauryl acid diester of polyoxyethyleneglycol. In this case, the number of carbons of the fatty acid of the ester B is 6-23, and mean molecular weight of the polyoxyalkylene is 100-10000. A ratio of the ester B to the salt A of the salycylic acid ester is 1-30wt.%. Both A, B are dispersed in water for use. |
