PURPOSE: To enhance the effect of training to recover memories by recording comments in a cassette tape and making him/her respond to the comments so that responses can be drawn out from a patient of Alzheimer's disease or the like with voice familiar to the patient losing a short time memory. CONSTITUTION: A converser at a converser's position 20 talks to a patient at a patient position 30 through telephones 22 and 32, and the conversation is monitored in a monitoring room 40. The conversation between the converser and a patient is recorded by audio recorders 42 and 44 through lines 12 and 14. At the same time, the images of the converser and the patient are taken in images by video cameras 28 and 36, which show the images on the monitors 37 and 26 installed at the patient position 30 and the converser's position and record the images in the video recorders 48 and 46. The converser should be a familiar person for the patient such as patient's parent, child or spouse, and the recorded voice and images are edited and a record with blanks for patient responses between recorded comments is utilized for future curing. |
