摘要 |
PURPOSE:To relax concentrated data or data collision at a congestion point and to reduce abort of transfer data caused by congestion by suppressing data transfer or spacing a transfer interval between frames forming the data. CONSTITUTION:When an area for a transmission queue is extended and a buffer occupied area is increased at a congestion point 304, a buffer management function detects congestion at a point of time when the total area exceeds a buffer area restriction threshold level. Then a congestion notice is sent toward a frame sender exchange 3 at the congestion point 304. When a server 32 receives the congestion notice in the frame sender exchange 3, the transfer rate is controlled for a frame received from a frame relay terminal equipment immediately to restrict the frame transmission interval flowing to the network. That is, upon the receipt of the congestion notice, the sender frame relay exchange 3 sends frames by a byte number in matching with a contracted throughput of each link from transmission queues 31, 31A of a link concerned in a congestion point 304 in a unit time. |
