The striking plate (16) is carried by a movable piece (2) pivoted on the base plate (1).The base plate has a semi cylindrical portion (7) and the movable piece has a complementary semi cylindrical portion (18).The base plate (1) carries a collar (10) which passes through a guide hole (19) in the movable piece (2).The guide hole (19) is extended in the direction perpendicular to the pivoting axis and defines travel end stops for the movable piece. Rotation of the movable piece relative to the base plate is obtained by longitudinal displacement of an adjusting cam (21). The cam has a convex semi cylindrical surface fitting the concave face of the semi cylindrical portion (18) of the movable piece (2). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates the need for manufacture of play adjustment wedges.
