PURPOSE:To enable speaking and facsimile communication in the state of connecting an interface to a portable telephone. CONSTITUTION:This interface device is provided with a speaker 6 for speaking and microphone 7 for speaking and further, a switching part 10 is provided to switch the device to a speaking enable state and a data communication enable state. Since speaking is enabled by the switching part 10 in the state of connecting the interface device to the portable telephone, speaking can be performed by using the speaker 6 and the microphone 7. On the other hand, since the device is turned to the data communication enable state by the switching part 10, the facsimile communication can be performed from a connected facsimile equipment. |
