PURPOSE:To give carbon atoms a new topological character for enough mechanical strength so as to expand conventional usage of carbon atoms by assigning carbon atoms in torus or spiral with stability. CONSTITUTION:Within a torus a couple of five heptagon rings 160 consisting of carbons are assigned as a top row and a bottom row offsetted from each other, ten in all. In accordance with this, at the outside of the torus, a couple of five pentagons 110 are assigned as top row and bottom row offsetted from each other, ten in all. In other parts, hexagon rings 120, 160 in all, consisting of carbon whose structure is similar to that of graphite are assigned. Then carbon atoms are so assigned that the shortest distance between atoms be approximately the inter-atom distances, so that the thickness of a layer of atoms or more may constitute a carbon molecule (torus molecule) 100 whose entire shape is torus. By assigning the carbon molecule 100 in 1-dimension and 2-dimension, a torus molecule aggregate 4 is constituted. |
